Frozen mango chunks bring a sweet, tropical taste. They’re also full of vitamin C, A, and fiber. And potassium.

Spinach

Baby spinach is perfect for this smoothie. It’s mild, blends well, and is loaded with vitamins and minerals. You cant taste it. Plus its what makes this asmoothie a a green smoothie giving a lovely vibrant green color.

Banana

Truthfully the banana makes this into a mango banana spinach smoothie and adds some needed natural sweetness. 

Plus a frozen banana adds creaminess along with potassium, fiber, and vitamin B6. And so this smoothie can be a great bedtime snack as well to soothe you into sleep with B6.

Almond Milk

But basically it’s simple to make this spinach mango smoothie. 

Using a high-speed blender blend the spinach with almond milk until it’s smooth. Adding the milk first makes it easier to blend.

Next, include the frozen mango, banana, oats, protein poweder, honey and blend again.

Blend everything until smooth and adjust the almond milk for thickness. Pour it into a glass, and your tasty smoothie is ready to drink!

Substitutions/Additions

If you don’t have all the ingredients for a mango spinach smoothie, there are many swaps and extras you can try. Instead of mango, use frozen pineapple or peaches. 

You can change almond milk to any other milk, coconut milk, coconut water, oat milk, soy milk, or cashew milk. You can also use water

For a thicker smoothie, a tablespoon of nut butter, such as almond butter or peanut butter, or half an avocado works well. 

If you want this smoothie completely plant-based, use a plant-based protein powder

You can also add a pineapple to this smoothie to make it a tropical green smoothie. 

For extra sweetness, add a pitted date, maple syrup, or more honey. 

Add some Greek yogurt to boost the protein content of the smoothie.

Use frozen mango, and frozen bananas for a creamier smoothie. However, if you only have fresh mango and fresh bananas, adding some ice can help. Just drink the smoothie immediately so it doesnt thin out. 

For a beautiful bright green color, you can add an extra or two handfuls of spinach. 

Storage

This mango spinach smoothie tastes the best right after you blend it. It’s fresh and creamy.

You can also keep it for later in a closed container in the fridge. It stays good for two days. Just mix it or blend it again when you’re ready to drink.

Don’t save the smoothie for over 2 days. After that, the fresh taste and nutrition lessen. But, you can freeze it in a tight container for up to 3 months. This keeps its great texture and nutrients safe.
