It’s a versatile option that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Packed with Health Benefits: Each ingredient in this smoothie brings its nutritional benefits to the table.

Peaches are rich in vitamins A and C, mangoes provide a boost of vitamin C and vitamin A, while strawberries are loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C.

Bananas provide potassium, to keep your heart happily pumping, and some tryptophan to boost your mood.

Coconut milk adds creaminess and healthy fats, making this smoothie a well-rounded choice for fueling your body.

No Added Sugar: Unlike many store-bought smoothies that are laden with added sugars and artificial flavors, this homemade smoothie is naturally sweetened by the ripe fruit alone.

You can enjoy it guilt-free, knowing that it contains no added sugars or preservatives.

Ingredients

Peaches: Peaches to me are the star of this smoothie and although I use frozen peaches here because it’s just easier,- no peeling or pitting is needed.

But, if you decide to use fresh peaches, you can leave the skin on; After most people eat the skin of the peach. I do and it’s so soft it will be smoothly blended.

Strawberries: If you have fresh strawberries it’s okay to use those, but I happened to have frozen ones as well as fresh so I used a bit from each. Strawberries add a bit of tart flavor that balances the sweetness of the bananas.

Frozen banana: Frozen bananas make this smoothie nice creamy and thick. For a sweeter smoothie, you can buy fresh ripe bananas and then freeze them. Fresh bananas can work too but for a thick smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes.

Mango: Use frozen mango in this recipe because it’s super cold and adds some extra creaminess to the smoothie.

Plus no peeling and cutting is needed. But you can use fresh especially sweet mangos in season will add some extra sweetness to the smoothie.

Just be sure to add some ice to keep the smoothie from getting too thin, unless you like it that way.

Almond milk: Almond milk is great in smoothies. I like to use plant-based milk in my smoothies. You can use any plant-based milk of choice or even use dairy milk.

Protein powder: protein helps to increase the nutrient density and make the smoothie more filling and satisfying as a meal or snack.

Chia seeds: Chia seeds also add creaminess and thickness to the smoothie. I just add them right in and they blend perfectly.

Raw Honey: You can add some honey to the smoothie. This depends on the level of sweetness you want. I found a bit of honey really nice in this smoothie.

It’s especially important if your fruits are not as sweet. In the middle of summer, I think fruits are more ripe and sweet.

So it depends on the season and ripeness of your fruit. When using frozen you really can’t tell how ripe they were when they were frozen.

How to store this Mango Peach Strawberry Smoothie

Smoothies are best when enjoyed immediately but you can still store this smoothie for later.

Refrigeration: Transfer the smoothie to an airtight container, such as a mason jar or a BPA-free plastic container with a tight-sealing lid.

Fill to the Top: Fill the container as close to the top as possible to minimize air exposure, which can cause the smoothie to oxidize and lose freshness.

Cover and Seal: Ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent air from entering and causing the smoothie to spoil or develop off-flavors.

Refrigerate: Place the sealed container in the refrigerator. The smoothie can typically be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours while retaining its freshness and flavor.

Shake Before Serving: Before consuming the stored smoothie, give it a good shake to remix any separated ingredients and ensure a consistent texture and flavor. You may need to reblend it for better consistency. If too thick add some more milk, and if thin you can add more fruit or ice cubes.

Freezing for Extended Storage:

If you want to store the smoothie for longer periods, you can freeze it in individual portions using freezer-safe containers or ice cube trays. Follow these steps:

Portioning: Pour the smoothie into ice cube trays or freezer-safe containers, leaving some space at the top to account for expansion during freezing.

Freezing: Place the trays or containers in the freezer and allow the smoothie to freeze completely.

Transfer to Bags: Once frozen, transfer the smoothie cubes or portions to a freezer bag for easier storage.

Label and Date: Label the freezer bag with the contents and date of freezing to keep track of freshness.

Thawing: When you’re ready to enjoy the smoothie, remove the desired portion from the freezer and thaw it in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours. Alternatively, you can blend the frozen cubes directly into a smoothie without thawing.

Recipe Tips

  • For an extra thick and creamy texture, use frozen mango and peach slices instead of fresh ones.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less honey, or try using a ripe banana for natural sweetness.
  • If you prefer a thinner smoothie you can add extra almond milk or any other liquid you are using.
