  • Blender Preferably a high powered blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of fresh spinach or any green leaves such as spinach or kale
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 green apple cored and sliced
  • 1 small avocado or half of a large avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or hemp seeds
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of natural sweetener such as stevia or honey, optional
  • A handful of ice cubes
  • 1 Tablespoon honey

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding the fresh spinach to your blender.
  • Next add the sliced green apple, and chia seeds or hemp seeds.
  • Add a tablespoon of almond butter
  • Pour in the unsweetened almond milk to help blend all the ingredients.
  • If desired, add a tablespoon of honey or natural sweetener to enhance the taste
  • Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Add a handful of ice cubes
  • Blend all the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the green smoothie into a glass and enjoy it fresh.
