Ginger Lemon Honey Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1-2 inches piece of fresh ginger washed and thinly sliced( You cab peel it if you like)
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon about 2-3 tablespoons
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey maple syrup, or another sweetener (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Add the sliced ginger to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  • Strain the tea into a mug to remove the ginger slices.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and honey
  • Serve warm, and enjoy its soothing and refreshing aroma.
